Grade A Notes provides customized course packets for professors and bookstores. We'll handle everything including cleanup of originals, copyright clearance, royalty payments, production, shipping, and pricing of the packet.In today's ever-changing market it is crucial for professors to provide current information to their students. Preparing a customized course packet allows professors to include up-to-date information from various sources in their course every term. This benefits students by keeping them current with real world information and holds their attention better than standard information from an outdated textbook. As the academic market becomes increasingly competitive, institutions are focusing more and more on providing students with individualized instruction.
Grade A Notes has established a number of controls to ensure a high quality product. We will cleanup original articles, add copyright citelines and page numbers to prepare the course packet for production. Once the packet is in production it is checked and double-checked for copy quality and accuracy. The packet is reproduced, assembled and bound according to the professor's instructions and then sold along with textbooks at the bookstore or at Grade A Notes.All costs of producing the course packet including royalties, copying, and binding are included in the price of the packet. If the professor is concerned about the cost of the packet, we will forward an estimate and cost breakdown for approval before production begins. Plus, professors receive a complimentary desk copy.
In order to accommodate busy schedules, Grade A Notes provides fast turnaround. We even have the capability to accept packets downloaded directly to our copy system. Once the original material for reproduction is received it takes approximately 2-3 weeks to produce the packet. Professors should turn in course packet orders to the bookstore at least four weeks before classes start to ensure the packet will be available for sale when classes begin.
